Job Responsibilities as a Med Tech: Give medication, check blood sugar levels, vital signs, call doctor if needed, gives insulin shots according to sliding scale instructions listed on the eMAR, makes copies of resident’s recent labwork along with additional documents for upcoming doctor’s appointments. Job Responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Assemble linens and toiletry items on nurse aide cart to accommodate resident's needs. Inform housekeeping staff if residents are in need of personal wipes, toilet tissue or paper towels. Pass out breakfast/ lunch trays and assists with set-up/ feeding residents. Separate dirty clothes from trash and dispose in designated soiled linen room
