Fares H. Yasin

I’m Fares H. Yasin, MD, a family medicine physician providing primary care and same-day urgent care services at Carlsbad Healthcare Clinic in Carlsbad, New Mexico. My approach to medicine centers on communication, education, and helping patients become active participants in their own healthcare. I believe that when patients better understand their health, treatment options, nutrition, and lifestyle choices, they are better equipped to make meaningful and lasting improvements.

Throughout my career, I have focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, weight management, diabetes care, and urgent medical needs. I also enjoy helping train the next generation of healthcare professionals by working with medical students, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students during their clinical rotations. My goal is to provide accessible, personalized care while building strong relationships with the individuals and families I serve throughout Carlsbad and southeastern New Mexico.
