  • TEACHING I have extensive teaching experience from India, UAE and USA. Through out my career I have been involved with teaching and education of nursing, paramedical staff, medical students, medicine and surgery residents and gastroenterology fellows. I have taught bed side skills, patient interviews techniques, clinical examination to medical students, residents and fellows. I have taught invasive procedural skills to residents and fellows. I have taught endoscopy procedural skills to surgery residents and gastroenterology fellows. I have taught Esophageal Manometry to Gastroenterology fellows. I have mentored several research projects.
  • Research I was involved in quality clinical research at each stage of my career. I have completed two dissertations during postgraduate and doctoral education in India as listed under. At start of my gastroenterology career in India I received a superior research award at United European Gastroenterology Conference at Geneva for my work on Esophageal Manometry findings in Non erosive Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. As internist in United States I have written a review on current status of CT colonography for colorectal cancer screening.
