Debra Smith Torrence, the Founder and CEO of Auspicious Wellness, embarked on her wellness journey after multiple ICU visits due to an autoimmune disease. This led her to explore natural wellness nutrients for immune support. During her research, she discovered the field of epigenetics and integrated it into her health routine through the use of natural wellness products and consultation with her endocrinologist. This regimen, along with her medical treatment, led to her remission from Graves’ Disease.
Her fascination with science prompted her to undertake a two-year course to become a certified life and health coach. She studied plant-based nutrition, focusing on flavonoids for immune health, plant-based wellness, and natural wellness. This led her to explore the science of cannabinoid molecules.
Debbie Smith ventured into product formulation and established a professional distribution business model for CBD products. She was invited by the Georgia Black Legislative Caucus to educate them about CBD, highlighting its holistic benefits and advocating for its regulation in Georgia.
She was then invited by the Georgia Fulton County Magistrate Judge to instruct sitting judges about double-blind placebos in CBD and its positive effects on drug-induced cravings, using research from the National Library of Medicine.
Her relentless efforts resulted in her becoming a certified vendor of cannabinoid distribution with the State of Indiana as an M/WBE and with the City of Indianapolis, the City of Louisville, the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the United States Government.
Debbie's passion for natural wellness continues to grow. She has launched the Auspicious Wellness TV Channel, available on Viva Live TV as well as the Auspicious Wellness Podcast, which has gained international recognition. In 2024, she launched a natural wellness weight management company called Auspicious Essentials with Water Soluble Vitamins and Amino Acids, along with her CBD Line.
