About Melissa Mahaney MSN, RN, CCM

Melissa Mahaney MSN, RN, CCM, attended Walden University for her MSN in Nursing Education from 2005 -2008 and earned her BSN, in Registered Nursing at Morehead State University from 1998-2002 and an M.S. in Nursing Education at Walden University. She is an experienced healthcare leader with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & healthcare industry. Melissa is currently the Director of In Home Clinical Services for Medically Home Group.  She is skilled in the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), Acute Care, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Transitions of care program development and implementation, Population Health, Home Care, EMR implementations, and Healthcare Management. Melissa has also enjoyed roles as an adjunct professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina and Morehead State University. She continues her journey in healthcare to shift towards advanced care models in the safety of one's home. She has been named a Women's Leader Delegate and Top Female Executive. Melissa is a member of the National Society of Leadership, National Homecare Association, and the North
