Over her 30+ years in Colorado, Joanne Underhill has represented hundreds of small businesses and their owners on business, governance, customer, employee, tax, and real estate matters, or in business and real estate litigation. Since 2013 she has offered her firm's legal services to business owners under a subscription program, called LegalPlans, that feature affordable, fixed monthly fees and other benefits, as well as under traditional hourly rate engagements. In 2016 Joanne co-founded the company now known as Integra, Inc. Integra developed Integra Ledger, the Blockchain for the Global Legal Industry. Integra Ledger is a permissioned blockchain for the global legal industry that facilitates secure and efficient interoperability among law firms and their clients.

Joanne Underhill has practiced law since 1979. Her current practice emphasizes business formations, governance, business acquisitions and sales, employment practices, resolution of tax problems, and business and real estate litigation in Colorado's federal and state courts. One of the first women undergraduates of Yale University, Joanne served on the staffs of a U.S. Senator and a Congressman on Capitol Hill before law school. Her early years as a lawyer were spent at a national litigation firm in Washington, D.C. and at the Federal Home Loan Bank Board (now known as the Office of Thrift Supervision) and Federal Savings and Loan Association (since merged into the FDIC). In addition to traditional ways of paying for legal services, Ms. Underhill offers her firm's legal services to business owners under a subscription program, called LegalPlans, that feature affordable, fixed monthly fees and other benefits.
