Surgical procedures, non-invasive therapies , plastic surgery, general surgery, reconstructive surgery, working on stem cell research and tissue healing; Dr. Bafitis has been a key opinion leader (KOL) for numerous regenerative medical companies. He has lectured nationally and internationally on biologic matrices in surgery and wound healing. He is presently involved in research portocols for the use of amniotic stem cells in other aspects of human health, including erectile dysfunction in men and hair growth for both men and women. Dr. Bafitis has a long history of service in the medical community. He was awarded the College of Surgeons Service Award for his long history of mission work in Peru, Bolivia and Cambodia. He was the youngest chairmen of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, inclusive of all its surgical specialties. He continues to be an examiner for the National Surgical Board.
